The Perfect Home
It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over. Time flies when you have a little one around! If you’re not ready for the change of season, don’t worry – we’ve got just what you need to give your home an update before fall sets in. Today we’re going to talk about kitchen cabinets and pantry organization: how to get it looking perfect for fall, and easy ways to make it look even better next year.
The first thing you need to do is get yourself some organizers. The easiest way to make a kitchen look good is by keeping it tidy – and the best way to keep your kitchen tidy is by using storage solutions that work for you.
We have tons of great options available, from under-the-sink bins that will hold all those cleaning supplies, cooking oils and spices without taking up extra space on countertops or in cabinets, all the way up to pull out pantry shelves so you can see everything inside at a glance without having stuff fall out every time you open a cabinet door.
The next thing we recommend doing is going through your pantry items and getting rid of anything expired or nearing expiration date. It’s also helpful if there are any duplicates in your baking supplies that you can donate to a food pantry or shelter.
As for the kitchen cabinets themselves, there are lots of ways to give them an updated look without doing much work. A new coat of paint makes everything feel fresh – and it’s easy to find colors that match whatever color scheme you’ve got going on already! New hardware will make things even better: if your current handles don’t seem like they go with anything anymore, try switching them out for something different. If nothing else works, consider getting rid of all the doors entirely and opting instead for open shelves or rolling racks so everything is visible at once.
