The Deadly Sins of Web Design
If you want to generate more leads, then avoid these common mistakes in web design. It’s important that your website is designed well so visitors feel welcomed and stay on the site for a longer period of time. No one wants to see an ugly or unprofessional-looking website when they are trying to get information about products or services! Make sure that you avoid these lake forest web design mistakes!
There are too many images on the page: Each image should add value to your content and help visitors get a better idea of what you do or sell. If there is an excess amount of images, don’t use them all! Also, avoid using low-quality photos that look like stock photos from poorly designed websites. Also, make sure each image has a descriptive alt tag for search engine optimization (SEO). Too much text!!

People aren’t going to read everything that’s written on a webpage, so it would be wise not to write 100 words when 20 will suffice. Make sure users can quickly scan through the information without getting bored by looking at walls of texts! Having no CTA button in sight. Visitors need clear instructions about how they can buy your product or service, or learn more information. If there is no CTA button in sight you are going to lose leads! Make sure visitors know exactly what they need to do next and make it as easy as possible for them.
Blank pages: Nobody likes waiting around on a blank page while everything loads up which means you could potentially miss out on sales because of this mistake! It’s important that the web design reflects well with your products/services so people don’t think about leaving right away. Don’t allow users to see any messages like “loading” when browsing through different pages – if something takes too long then show an error message. This way people will continue looking at other parts of the website instead of immediately clicking back onto the search engine results.
